Setting the Direction for Stone & Perry

The opening note on field-led ideas, restrained language and the workshop journal we want to keep.

Evening light over a pond and woodland, reflecting the Stone & Perry field-led direction

Stone & Perry is being shaped as a workshop journal first: a place for outdoor tool concepts, field notes, prototype planning and the quiet decisions that happen before anything is presented as finished.

The direction is practical rather than dramatic. We are interested in clean profiles, honest materials, field-led usefulness and a visual language that feels closer to a worn notebook than a glossy catalogue.

This first version of the journal sets the pace. Sketches, tracker notes and workshop decisions will be shared carefully, with enough detail to follow the work without turning early ideas into promises.
